Any half-decent warrior would TRASH you. Not to mention proper melee hate (you cant keep up with one, your veil has 12s recharge). Dream on.

dunno, i like his builds a lot actually.
i don't see big issues with them regarding snares, speedboosts, hexes and conditions, energy and all the stuff. they're pretty alright, not as high on damage but the utility is really cool.

warrs are dead before they build up any adrenaline. and read the part about how i handle dedicated melee hate. i choose which hexes to remove and veils slow hexes and sometimes they're dead before the hex gets on. also, i can initially remove two consecutive hexes if they're both absolutely worth removing. if insidious happens to stick, sometimes i attack through it a bit, just not on the nec that cast it.
guys, this is not theory wars. i am telling you stuff i have been running for a long time that makes me successful.
and now for another fun RA build
BRUTAL STAMPEDE
[build prof=A/Mo dagger=12+1+2 critical=12+1 deadly=2 protection=2][enduring toxin][black mantis thrust][lotus strike][twisting fangs][moebius strike][trampling ox][mending touch][/build]
this one is true epic brutality. trample my target over and over and laugh at its helplessness. i rarely go after monks with this. because i want the target to be healed so i can keep trampling it until it dies. if its health happens to go above 1/2 or cripple is removed just start over and continue the slaughter. twisting covers the cripple for the kd later and maximizes overall dmg. but trampling can go first if i see something that absolutely must be knocked down. jungle strike would be more damaging than lotus strike but Shinde's builds always have e-management.
the last slot is a toss-up between res sig or remove hex (if i wanna be an ass and not bring res) or... maybe go /w and flail but id rather be clean

His builds are actually decent and better then most RA assassins out there. Guess the biggest problem most people here have with it is not the build, but how powerful he makes them sound. Also how he makes it sound like you can choose what to remove with Veil, which against a good necro or mesmer won't be possible. But if you skip the overstating and just look at the builds, there is nothing wrong with those.

[enraging charge][bulls strike] and you're dead before you get up.
That's what I like doin the most on my Hammer War. Catching those sins charging for my monk.

THat's the point. His builds are okay but he seems like a guy who thinks he wins all the matches alone. Maybe he doesnt notice the mesmer in his team making his kills seem so easy when the target is actually completely shut down.

Don't understand the point of mending touch over assassin's remedy...that is one of the better skills sins have at their disposal, even at 10e.
Sins usually do have a first strike advantage over warriors, but a warrior can knock you down two or three times and disable one your attack skills with d-chop. This happens quite a lot if you play from the international district where every other player isn't a useless wamo.

Or maybe you're just an ass who won't accept that even arrogant people can be not 100% terrible? Clearly the fact that you can 1v1 him with your hammer warrior shows how skillful you are at this game called guild wars.

We are talking about RA here, not 1v1, and if you can tell how skillful one is from reading posts you are amazing, can I be your friend? Or maybe not.

When you talk about this kinda thing on a forum that is all it can be! You can never take into account all the different scenarios you are going to face, especially in RANDOM arenas.

Surprised someone hasn't posed this yet:
[build=OwEjUhQsjS4VuVUfuEmRVf2E4FA]
DF 10+1+1
Smiting 10+1
Tactics 8
Blessed insignias, etc.
The crappy smiter's boon template is kinda decent for RA now, never liked pendulum or you're all alone much for ra.

On it's own the smiter's boon template isn't that great, but if you get paired with a WoH monk and two other decent players this build is really good support. If you use it right, which isn't hard at all, it's as offensive as it is defensive and empathetic removal fits in nicely as a utility skill.
**edit
But if I'm reading this right from the euro update page (just saw it in TA section), smiter's boon is dead.

Moebius-db spam is a good way to lose an attack skill, if not from a warrior then a ranger. Honestly there is more to this game than mindlessly running around hitting people for massive domage, although anet sure has done a lot to promote that style of play.

Hahaha wow just saw the smiters boon nerf. Izzy has apparently gotten so lazy with his work toward game balance that he is no longer even trying to hide it.

Those builds are pretty solid, especially using holy veil as your enchant for GPS which I've had a lot of success with in the past. Personally I'd go with moebius + db instead of moebius + CS since e-management is good enough with 13cs and zealous, but eh, that's mostly preference.
|
thanks. but definitely critical strike over blossom for me, helps a lot when i need to reapply TF (often, with the increasing number of drawcond/mendtouch monks) or have to start over on a different target.

yes there is, but it is the most direct way towards reaching the ultimate end-goal for victory, which is out-killing the opponent and obviously some people prefer this style.
another one:
RABID FLOWER
[build prof=A/Mo dagger=12+1+2 critical=12+1 protection=3][way of the assassin][jagged strike][golden fang strike][death blossom][golden phoenix strike][holy veil][mending touch][resurrection signet][/build]
this plays different than usual. it has no IMS or snare cuz it's not meant to chase single targets down. using the new WotA (IAS and increased critical chance) and some very fast-recharging attack skills, spread bleeding, deepwound, and high critical damage to EVERYONE.
keep WotA up and spam 2,3,4,5,4 (2 blossoms) with reckless abandon, switching targets like mad and finishing off low-health ones as necessary and cleaning self up along the way. something with die eventually. mostly for the lulz but can be surprisingly effective sometimes.

He just wanted to destroy the skill, because he thinks it was only ever bad for the game.
If only he took the same approach to Ritualists and Assassins.
